Edoardo Siro Sollai

My name is Edoardo Sollai and I am currently finishing up my first year of my bachelor studies. I am thrilled to be the proposed Internal Affairs Coordinator of Vectum and look forward to working with the four lovely proposed board members alongside and creating an unforgettable experience.

My main goal as the next Internal Affairs Coordinator will be to create memorable activities for all students on a weekly basis and ensure a pleasant atmosphere throughout. This will be achieved with the help of the Activities Committee which I look forward to working with. Not only do I want to keep old Vectum traditions going such as Oktoberfest, the Welcome Activity or the Sinterklaas party, but I also want to bring back some other events. As I was able to see how much people enjoyed beer biking I will try my best to bring it back for the second year in a row 

Next to the weekly activities, I will also be in charge of coordinating the First Year Trip and Members’ Weekend which with the help of the Summer Committee/Activities Committee, I will aim to make the most unforgettable experience of the year. The location and time of the First Year Trip has already been taken care of and with the Summer Committee, the goal is to decide on specifics of that trip and plan travel, activities, and food. Additionally, we will plan the activities of the first period. Unfortunately this year no international trip will take place. However as 2024 marks the 30th anniversary of Vectum I’m glad to be supervising the amazing Lustrum committee

Members’ Weekend will take place at the end of the academic year and there will be ongoing planning with the Activities Committee which additionally will also support me in planning the weekly activities of the 2nd, 4th, and 5th period. We will try to think of overwhelming activities and schedule them in such a way that the number of members joining those is maximized.

In conclusion, I am honored to be a board member of Vectum and help pass along the love for this association that I have developed ever since I have been a part of it. I am looking forward to meeting new people next year as well as engaging the current members that will still be there next year.
